In the conditions of rapid growth in prices for traditional heat carriers (especially gas), the question of saving fuel consumption and rationalizing energy consumption arises. One of the ways to save fuel is to use the heat of flue gases after the boiler (furnace, etc.) with the help of recuperators (economizers, recyclers).
In the classic scheme, heated gases are released into the atmosphere together with the heat they carry. But when the recuperator is connected to this circuit, the heat from the outgoing gases will be returned, and there is an opportunity to redistribute the received energy for useful purposes. Return heat can be used to heat water, air or other liquid and gaseous media.
Predominantly, recuperators are used to heat water from the return line of the coolant in front of the water heating boiler or feed water in front of the steam boiler.
| Heat load | 27,9 kW |
| Flue gas temperature at the recuperator inlet | 190 degrees |
| Flue gas temperature at the outlet of the recuperator | 87 degrees |
| Pressure losses from flue gases | 15,2 Pa |
| Water consumption through the recuperator | 12010 kg/h |
| Water connection | Diameter 50 mm |
| Saving natural gas | 3,21 nm3/h (2312 m3 per month) |
